The sequels - Reading challenge 2012 - My progress

This is where I'll be tracking my own progress in the 2012 The Sequels challenge.

Since it's the first I obviously have nothing to track yet lol So here's some of the books I'm planning to read for the challenge, maybe they'll give you some ideas :)

Bloodrose by Andrea Cremer - Book three in The Witches war trilogy.

Destined by P.C and Kristin Cast - Book nine in The house of night series.

Last breath by Rachel Caine - Book eleven in The Morganville vampires series.

Trial by fire by Jennifer Lynn Barnes - Book two in The raised by wolves series.

Forever by Maggie Stiefvater - Book three in The wolves of Mercy falls trilogy.

Vanish by Sophie Jordan - Book two in The firelight series.

Passion by Lauren Kate - Book three in The fallen series.

Lost in time by Melissa De La Cruz - Book six in The blue bloods series.

The son of Neptune by Rick Riordan - Book two in The Heroes of Olympus series.

There are plenty more books I have in mind to read but these ones are top of my list to read first, with the exception of Bloodrose, which isn't out yet, these are all books I've bought in recent months on the day of release because they're all in series' I enjoy, yet somehow I never got round to reading them - that's why I thought up this challenge lol

Hi guys, here is the post where you can link up your reviews for the challenge.
I'm really excited that so far 17 people have signed-up, I didn't think anyone would so this is great! lol
If you haven't signed-up and would like to, you can visit the original post to do so.

Here's a refresher on the details:
-To complete the challenge and be eligible for the giveaway at the end you must read at least 24 books in the year

- That's two a month which I think is fair and doable.
-If you don't have a blog then link to where you've reviewed the book, if you didn't review it then link to where you track the books you've read like Goodreads or Shelfari. If you don't have any of these, er I guess link to the book you read on amazon or something lol
-Completing the challenge of 24 books will get you ONE entry into the giveaway, any additional book after that will get you another entry so keep linking when your finished.
-A sequel doesn't have to be a second book it can be any book in the series excluding the first of course.
-You can sign-up anytime all year.
-It would be awesome if you added the button to your blog or blogged the challenge or even both to show your participation and spread the word but it isn't mandatory.
-As it's a year away I haven't decided on any prizes yet for the giveaway but it'll likely be two or three sequels that are out around the end of the year :)

So each time you read a book for the challenge come over here and link it, I'll keep a link at the top of the sidebar to this post so you can always find it quickly.
 
When entering you links, please enter your name/blog (if you have one)/and the book you read.
For example mine would be:
Mist/Bookaholics/Book title
That way I'll easily know all your entries when it comes to counting  them at the end of the challenge.

Hi guys. So I know I've left it a bit late but I've thought of a challenge for 2012 and wanted to invite you all to join me.
It is The sequels challenge

Over the course of this year I've bought sequels to books I've read, some of them even being the last in a series, that I've been really excited about, yet somehow I've ended up not reading them.

And so I decided to challenge myself to read them next year along with other sequels I buy before I really fall behind in all my favourite series'

If you'd like to join me in this challenge you can use the linky below to sign-up and on January 1st (or there abouts) I'll post another linky list for you to link your reviews of the books you have read. At the end of the year I'll do a giveaway for everyone that completed the challenge.
