And here are the awesome earrings Donna from Book passion for life got me!
Thank you everyone for my pressies!
What did you get this week?
A very happy belated birthday! :-) You got some lovely goodies!
ReplyDeleteI NEED Alice in Zombieland, like you wouldn't believe...I'd possibly trade my children for it lol! I loved God Save the Queen, can't wait for the next one :-) I really liked Amy and Roger's Epic Detour, it's made me want to read more road trip books.
I've had Of Poseidon and Lies Beneath on my wishlist for ages, I'm waiting for the paperback...it's taking ages!
Thanks! :)
DeleteHave you tried Saving June? That was pretty good and is centered around a road trip :)
I'm unsure about Saving June...I like the sound of it, but something puts me off..I get quite bored with coming of age books or books that feature a protagonist who complains about death and just won't move on or keeps looking at past memories, you know what I mean? Is Saving June a lot like that?
DeleteHmm well I don't think I'd say it's a coming of age novel, it's more about the protag finding out secrets about her sister to try to figure out why she killed herself so there is some looking into the past, I wouldn't say she's complaining about death but it's something that's part of the story, I guess you'd have to make up your own mind lol
DeleteWow Mist. Great haul!!! Some great books and I have to say I cant wait for Alice In Zombieland :)
